Add format types CD+DVD, Playaway, Book+CD-ROM
We'd like these new TOMs/Type of Material ('Format' in Leap and icon in the PAC). These currently display incorrect and/or unhelpful formats, though coded correctly in the MARC record:
CD + DVD: A CD issued with DVD displays in both Leap and the PAC as 'Videorecording'. If the DVD is primary it displays as 'DVD', better but still not ideal.
Playaway: These display in Leap and PAC as 'Audio Books'. Not technically incorrect but not really helpful either. We'd prefer 'Playaway' or generic 'Audio Media Player' or something else that more clearly differentiates these from CD audiobooks. You should be able to use the first part of an 007 ('cs') in combination with other coded fields. Likewise for Playaway View/Video Media Player.
Book + CD-ROM: We do still have CD-ROMs and sometimes add books that come with CD-ROMs. Both display in Leap and PAC as 'Electronic Resources'. For the CD-ROM by itself, maybe this is acceptable but not ideal. For the book, this is not helpful.
Idea Value
Both patrons and staff would benefit from having a clearer indication of what they're looking at when these types of items come up in a search, especially since there often isn't anything else indicating the format in a hit list. We have hundreds of titles affected.

I think this request is too limiting. There are other materials such as 4K discs that would be important to add, whereas I'm not sure that my library even has any books with CD-ROMs at this point. I think the suggestion for custom TOMs would make more sense long-term, rather than adding a few limited TOMs, two of which are already older formats that some libraries may not even own at this point.

How about creating a custom TOM.
