Allow parents to view associated account activity
With the increased scrutiny on children's books, we are looking for ways to offer parents opt-in access to their child's account activities.
Our suggestion is to expand functionality for associated accounts. Associations allow staff to link parents to their children's accounts, and access those accounts easily. However, from the parent's dashboard when they login to PAC, they are unable to view or manage their associated accounts.
We would like parents to be able to see what is checked out to their children's account. An adult is already required for any cards registered to minors, so it makes sense for a parent to be able to easily manage their minor child's account.

We would want such a feature to be toggle-able. Laws in our jurisdiction would allow this for children under 14 but minors 14 and over are allowed privacy from their parents in terms of what they check out (and they can get a library card on their own). So a blanket feature would be against the law here.
