I would love this. I suggested it a while back--can't remember how it did at the time--but it would really help us keep the items on the hold shelf moving, as it does seem that many patrons never go back to cancel their hold when they pick up a Lucky Day copy.

Yes! It's good to see Mike's comment, as our understanding is that this was going to be an early function in LX Starter. We've been needing something like this for a while. There are several occurrences for which we'd like to send account notification emails (NOT marketing-type emails), but we've had to hack existing notices to be able to send our own text to a review file of chosen patrons. It's not pretty.
