This is also an issue when reordering titles where the last item is not viable and won't accept holds. As long as the only items on the bib don't accept holds, Sierra doesn't care that there are orders in progress, and no one can place holds for when the ordered copies come in. Ugly.

The ability to send a message to a selected group of patrons is planned as future functionality in LX Starter.

Yes! It's good to see Mike's comment, as our understanding is that this was going to be an early function in LX Starter. We've been needing something like this for a while. There are several occurrences for which we'd like to send account notification emails (NOT marketing-type emails), but we've had to hack existing notices to be able to send our own text to a review file of chosen patrons. It's not pretty.

I agree. I've never used the internal voucher number for anything, but that report could be really useful if it had the invoice number on it...the reference number that I, the vendor, and our business folks actually use.
