We would also really like for the age group facets to come from itypes or location codes, so that we could assign (in our case) itypes that would separate things into juvenile, tween, young adult, and adult.

This is a really important feature for our workflows here - we love and need the granularity of our itypes, but also really need to be able to group them for various limiting factors!!

We really need this so we can successfully check ILL items in and out on selfchecks. As it is, we have had to move those items into the workrooms, causing additional trouble for customers and staff.

Agreed - we had this in our previous Discovery platform and it will be missed. There are a lot of people who want to filter out the reference materials. We would like a filter that excludes materials that don't check out AND materials that are currently checked out.
