I would really like to see this - mostly for a use case similar to what Wes mentioned. I have a few SQL jobs that add records to specific record sets on a weekly basis, so it is important for me that those record sets do not get deleted. Having the "do not delete" option would be perfect and it would allow me to clean up old record sets a little easier without having to worry about accidentally purging a record set that I need.

We're upgrading to 7.6 soon (from 7.4) and this is one of the things that is making me consider suggesting that our staff should not used the "declare damaged" workflow in Leap. If the items with the new "damaged" circ status could automatically be transitioned to withdrawn (very much like the lost item transition), then I would feel a lot better about the whole process.

I've also heard from staff requesting this feature. Similarly, our staff would like to be able to delete multiple issues at once from the Serials Check In screen.

We just recently switched over to LX Starter for our notices and have had a couple of patron request the ability to receive plain text notices. This would be very useful for us.
