I like the idea of this. I suppose that this process could send an email reset link to the email address in the staff user account, except that there's not one, so that would have to be added. We also might want to have a setting for shared accounts that doesn't let the password be reset.

It's reasonable to expect that someone might use a mix of mouse and keyboard -- I do it frequently, and if you do a lot of changes then it's something you learn to do to improve your efficiency. You shouldn't assume that people will do things only a certain way. This is especially important in Rapid Update, where the stakes are so high.

We have needed more than four categories for years. We have a lot of items that we say we limit that Sierra can't enforce because we have only four categories.

This would be helpful when we make a mistake in entering a username, or when someone changes their name. Re-creating the account takes more time and is an opportinutiy to maker errors.

It would be helpful to be able to select a number of loan rules and make a single change to all of them. This would make it easier, and would ensure consistency.

It seems like there would be several levels at which this could be set: per user, per system, maybe somewhere in between for consortia(?).
If a password was going to be saved, it would be nice for it to be encrypted, but I don't know if the SDA could do that.
