    This is a nice step in the right direction, but I would love to see this improvement extended to patron self-service. If a hold has been triggered, patrons still have to call the library to change the pickup location. It would be so much better to enable patrons to do this themselves (up until it reached the holdshelf).

    We are planning to add the item cost to overdue notice data so it can be included in overdue notices sent through LX Starter as of Sierra 6.7.


    Additional changes will be needed in LX Starter before the new data can be included on emails for overdue items.

    We have a similar problem preventing our consortium from implementing the new checkout limits, but it's with the Library Location Blocks. The blocks read the locations served tables from top to bottom so we can't apply a block to a subset of library locations. Being able to group Library Locations in a similar way would allow us to replicate our use of the item category tables.

    I would love a date field that paused the transfer to the permanent location - set a date and checkins on or after that would move it to the "permanent" location. Would also like to run create lists against that date to find the materials on the shelf that should be moved.
