    Accidental renewals and misunderstanding when the renewal date begins (date of renewal versus original due date) is an oddly prevelant issue for both patrons and staff. It is particularly important because staff cannot undue a renewal, thus taking away potential future renewals and as another commenter said, inflating circulation numbers. I would assume, however, that this added function would not take away the staff ability to extend a due date if needed.

  2. Ability to bulk move a patron's existing notes data over to the Dated Notes and disable the old Notes section.

    Our library patrons expect the ability to navigate between the main domain and individual library sites. This basic function is a primary reason our consortia decided to use Vega Discover, as it is widely used in the Polaris catalog.
