This is useful; a patron may borrow more than one copy of a title, for example, to share with book group members, or on an educators card for the classroom shelf. Knowing exactly *which* copy of an item they may have not returned, etc., is important on occasion. We also may still have some lingering uncatalogued paperbacks in our collection that can be identified only by barcode.

We are in the process of migrating into Vega Discover, so I don't exactly know if I am commenting appropriately, but I vote that this is important to offer, and I want to add that a statement like "Click here" even if not hyperlinked isn't great accessible language for users relying on screenreading/adaptive technology. I'd recommend when pointing to a link outward that the text read something like "Visit this resource" instead of "Click here"....so it doesn't have to be customized to the specific vendor, but is more descriptive of where clicking/link leads.

This is really critical -- we are all facing compliance deadlines to get ALL ePlatform interfaces as accessible as possible. Providing as close to the same experience for a low/no vision user as for a full-vision user is the goal, so having ample space to describe and provide alt text for any graphics--particularly graphics with text on them that is completely flattened when the "image" is uploaded as a jpg or png is going to become non-negotiable. I would ideally hope that any Syndetics content, book or material cover images, etc., have somewhere where alt text info can be verified and/or edited, just in case, will be an enhancement we see soon.
