Add the item barcode to the Checkouts in My Bookshelf
Some of our patrons, those who are teachers or book club leaders, for example, borrow multiple copies of the same title on their library account. They need to control the return of such materials and do so by barcode. Unfortunately, Vega Discover doesn't display the item barcode in the Checkouts information in My Bookshelf. Please add the item barcode# to the Checkouts data in My Bookshelf.

This is useful; a patron may borrow more than one copy of a title, for example, to share with book group members, or on an educators card for the classroom shelf. Knowing exactly *which* copy of an item they may have not returned, etc., is important on occasion. We also may still have some lingering uncatalogued paperbacks in our collection that can be identified only by barcode.

Yes, this is essential for our patrons.

We agree this would be helpful. Our use case for this is from a patron, and her husband who borrowed the same title and did not know which book was on whose account and which book had to be returned first. It also could also be useful so patrons could identify which titles have holds on them.
