    1. Add the ability to change the behavior of the Add Bookings page to default to a Guest booking rather than a Member booking. We typically don't require patrons to provide a library card number when registering for a program.
    2. Add the ability to make the Booking Note & Staff Name field not required. This may be confusing for staff and isn't something we would need every time staff register a patron for an event.

  1. For the sake of enforcing use limit policies, it would be helpful to be able to approve bookings after they have already happened. With few staff who are able to approve requests, sometimes we don't get to approve requests before the room has already been used. To be able to approve requests after a booking (with the option not to notify a patron since there's no need) would then help the staff when reviewing future requests in the same limitation period.   2. It appears the system might be using patron barcode as the primary ID for patron records rather than patron record number. This is problematic when a patron loses their barcode and it needs to be replaced or, as mentioned in another idea, the patron has multiple barcodes for some reason. This makes it difficult for a patron to keep track of their past programs, as well as their waitlists, which no longer function if their barcode changes. Would also probably require a way to merge records that exist with the same patron record number.

  3. We'd love the option to edit patron information on bookings that have already concluded. Because patrons don't have to enter their full names when utilizing the guest booking feature, it would help us to be able to add that information retrospectively in order to better facilitate approvals for future use.

  4. Staff have expressed an interest in having "tomorrow" as an option since "today" and "yesterday" are already an option, instead of having to go to "custom range" since they are looking ahead only a day or two.

  6. To best serve our patrons, we offer that they can book the rooms over the phone with a staff member. To best serve our staff, they do not have to approve every request that comes in; they can simply submit it, and an appropriate staff member will review and approve/reject the request.

  8. In our system, there are patrons who have more than one card number. If those patrons attempt to register for a program with the number that is not the first number listed on their account, then Vega Program is unable to find them in the system and a "No Matching Member is Found" error is generated.

  10. We need a way to block problem patrons from being able to reserve rooms. It can either be a blacklist where we add the patron barcode or have Vega Program look at the MBlock in Sierra or the Polaris equivalent and deny that way.

  11. This is more of a question, but is there a way that you can generate an iCAL link or something similar so that you can add groups of events in a particular category to your Google Calendar? I know there's the option to do this individually for each event, but I was curious if there were bulk options. Thanks!

  13. In addition to the age limits for Program Registration, it would be helpful to be able to limit by grade.
    While age is a useful limit for early learning programs, many school age programs are limited by grade range. The option to select limit by grade, and then define the grades that can register, would help libraries when determining who can register for a program. Currently, libraries have to determine the age for the program based on the school registration birthday cut off, and that may not accurately reflect who is eligible to register.   14. Hi Team,

    We are expecting the discount vouchers module to help booking the tickets with the discount. Currently we are booking the ticket with amount and using that value during the refund. That parameter in the api is not accepting lesser value than the price of the ticket.

  15. We'd like to see an option to categorize rooms to help with filtering them or hiding them. For example, we have both public access rooms and staff-only rooms. However, not all staff can book the staff-only rooms, as they are only responsible for making public bookings. By categorizing the rooms, we'd hope to see all rooms of a certain category together and be able to collapse categories in the list view. Even further, it would be great to be able to hide categories from staff that are unneccesary to them and clutter their view.

  16. Could you make it so you can put an end time in the end time field when you're entering an event? Or at least make more options than a four hour limit? Putting in custom minutes for events that are longer than that isn't very appealing. Thanks for considering!

  17. Patrons receive a confirmation that includes a " Manage Booking" box. One of our challenges is that we don't know when a patron has checked in to the room, or if they leave the room early.

    Right now, patrons don't have to stop by the desk before or after their reservation. And, if patrons leave early without telling us we can't modify the reservation to free up space for another person. In the new VEGA system could a check - in and check - out button be added to the patron's reservation confirmation?

  18. Would it be possible to put in a time range for a reservation using the availability bar? Rather than clicking it to pick your start time, then choosing the end time via drop down, is there a way to click through the time blocks to mark your end time as well? Also related, is there a way to make the availability bars visible when you're booking multiple events?

  19. In addition to adding a phone number field to the patron registration forms (which has already been suggested) I'd like to ask if the required "Age" field that appears could be a dropdown to represent age groups instead of typing a year. We have it created now as a custom question but it would be nice to not have to add it every time.
