Customize which item statuses are "available"
When in the full record display of the Innovative Mobile app, there is an Available Only toggle. When selecting that option, our system would like to make sure items with the status of ON DISPLAY are included here as being available to the public. Let libraries set which item statuses are deemed available based on their system.

Include all components in large text version of app
Currently, on iOS, when a device has "Larger Accessibility Sizes" enabled, the app loses many components.
Most critically, the "Checkout" shortcut that appears adjacent to the "Card" shortcut and below the search bar does not carry over when the text is enlarged. The only way to make self checkout available to visually impaired patrons with large text enabled is to rely on the "Checkout" menu item with the visibility set to "Always" or "Post-Login." (My library prefers the visibility set to "Pre-Login" so we can bump up a menu item for greater prominence since the "Checkout" shortcut makes the "Checkout"…

Integrate Vega features into Innovative Mobile for ease of implementation
Vega (Homepage/LX/Promote/Promote Web) features such as showcase groups, carousels, and authors should be available to deploy within Innovative Mobile for ease of implementation across all products. We'd like to be able to deploy our librarian created showcases directly on the mobile app versus creating record sets of our existing showcases from Vega.

Allow for upcoming Vega associated/linked accounts to be integrated on Innovative Mobile
With the upcoming development of Vega associated/linked patron accounts, we'd like the III Mobile App to integrate this automagically, rather than requiring patrons to set it up both on Vega and on the III mobile app. Vega should supersede the III Mobile App for all account related features.

Support dark mode --- currently, on iOS and Android devices, when Dark is selected, the hamburger menuing options display dark, but the main app still remains in Light mode.

Send the self-check receipt to the patron's email address
Patrons are used to getting ereceipts when they use other self-check devices in the library, so the experience should be the same in the app.

More accessibility to homepage when screen display/text is enlarged
For our elderly and vision-impaired folks - when the display/text on their phone is enlarged, the app display and functionality are very limited. The main problem is, that the menu (and other settings) is inaccessible, so they can't get logged in to the app.
I have attached a screenshot of how the app displays for some of our staff/patrons with vision impairment. If Menu could be added as a tab above Search so that they could log in, that would be ideal.

Add feature for announcement banner on app home page
Could you please create a feature that allows us to add an announcement banner to the very top of the app home page? Specifically with (a) a custom color background, (b) a custom icon, and (c) a custom free text field. Mockup attached for clarification. Thank you!

Ability to sort/filter by material or item type in "Checkouts".
After completing the API integration for OverDrive titles, it is difficult for users to look through their checkouts to determine which ones are physical items and which ones are digital. An option to sort or filter by material or item type would correct this problem.

Repeatable Curbside Pickup Notification
When a patron arrives for a curbside pickup there is an audible notification that sounds on the circulation computer. This is often not heard due to other noise in the area. An option to set this notification to repeat until acknowledged would be very helpful so that patrons are not missed when they come for pickup.

item record order
When viewing a serial bib in the mobile app, it currently lists item records (volumes, seasons) in random order. We think it may be ordering by create date - not sure. It would make more sense to patrons to order these numerically, so volume/season 1 first, volume/season 10 last, in descending order. Two examples are presented here (one is for a DVD with several seasons, and one is for a graphic novel with several volumes).

Due Soon vs. Due Today
Patrons suggests that on the day their book is actually due, the app should reflect "item due now" rather than "due soon" as it is misleading.

Allow patrons to edit the same account details as they can in PAC
In our current PAC, patrons are able to edit their email address, phone number, notification preference, and preferred pickup location. It would be great if they could do those things in the app too.

Add a "Share" Button for Individual Material
A way to improve Innovative Mobile would be the addition of a "Share" button attached to individual material. This would allow patrons to share content they find in the application among each other. This type of enhancement would be incredibly helpful to multiple groups of patrons, such as book clubs, learning groups and patron to patron engagement. This enhancement could help increase patron application usage as well.
An example of this button from fontawesome is the share-from-square icon: https://fontawesome.com/icons/share-from-square?f=classic&s=solid
If the share button copied a link to the clipboard of the device that clicked the button, with the link leading…

Customize Fonts & Typeface
It would be great if we could customize font and typeface (bold headings or increase text size, for example) for items in the app. Some of the text is quite light/thin, and it would be ideal to enhance for better contrast.

Make the barcode number a larger font or add the ability to pinch it larger in portrait mode
Right now we have people complaining that the barcode number is too small to read. We have been advising turning to landscape but it would be nice if the barcode number were larger in portrait mode or if you could pinch the number to zoom in.

Automatic refresh when opening the Solus App
Several staff have shared customer feedback re: the lack of an automatic refresh when opening the Solus App.
Several customers have complained after returning materials directly to a staff member that the items were still reflecting in their accounts when they checked their account in the app following that action.
Staff suggested they go in and click the refresh icon. At that point, the items cleared but, ideally, customers should not have to take that step. The app should auto refresh when customer opens the app.

Scan ISBN in Reading Tracker
Currently when you start a new session, you can either view what you have on loan or type an ISBN number, it would be nice to give patrons the capability to scan the ISBN of a book they have in their hand.

When an item is available online in open source full text, we'd like them to be able to have access to it via the catalog record.

Enable multiple pickup locations per branch in Mobile App to support locker, curbside, and in-library holds pickup
I was told by Innovative support that SOLUS said the Mobile App will not be supporting the new pickup area functionality available in Polaris 7.5 that allows a user to select first a library and then a designated pickup area.
Providing an option for pickup locations is crucial as more libraries start to offer smart locker pickup and other, separate, pickup area scenarios.
The current work-around of creating new "branches" in Polaris just for a pickup location for a locker or other area creates multiple data and maintenance challenges both for administrators and library staff. This challenge is further multiplied…
