limit to ... (branch) filter unusable without "on the shelf" filter
The "limit to..." filter allows you to limit your search to titles associated with a library. Similar to how Encore worked, this is of no use to our customers because the item could be checked out or checked in. Vega Discover finally introduced a filter of "on the shelf", and this is needed in the Innovative Mobile.

Ability to checkout material in the app
To better improve the patron experience, we would love to see the option for patrons to check-out material while they are in the app. A use case for this might be a parent that is checking out multiple picture books. Instead of packing those items and getting them out again at the self-check, they should be able to check out within the app.

List the language of material (if other than English/main language) in the search result format list
As shown in the screenshots, the eBook does not have any indication that it is in Spanish until the user taps into the Catalog Item.

List the eMaterial Vendor in the Search Result Format List
Some materials may have multiple vendor copies of eBooks, eAudiobooks, etc. It would be useful for the patrons to be able to see which vendor they're tapping onto while searching without having to utilize the "search in" option. Currently, patrons would have to open the Catalog Item page and locate the vendor information.

In a Consortium Environment, Have Home Library Float to the Top of Availability in Catalog Item Page
With over 70 libraries connected to the app in our consortium, it can get tedious to have to click "more" to find the user's home library for each catalog item. Ideally, if a material is available at the home library it should be displayed first.
Using the "Limit to" search option does not help in this case, as search results still include materials that are not currently available for checkout but are owned by that "limit to" library.11 votes -
Disable linked account feature
Libraries would like the ability to turn OFF account linking. Especially within a consortium of multiple libraries, some would like to enable, some would like to disable.

Add select all feature in app to place books in reading lists on hold
It would be nice if patrons could batch add books in their reading lists to be placed on hold. Currently, they have to tap into each title to place the hold. We restrict how many holds a patron can have at a time on their account, so this feature would allow our power users to have lists ready to go once their hold queue clears.

Display suspend date in holds list
Patrons should be able to see the hold suspension end date in their holds list. Currently if you select a suspend hold date in the app, there is no way to see that date once you submit. It just says inactive and queue position 0. If patrons can't remember when they requested the item to be placed back on hold, they have to resume the hold and then suspend it again.

Link to New Events/Room Bookings in Slide Menu
With the Vega Program integration, it seems like the patron must have already booked in for an event or room reservation for the account menu to display "Bookings" and "Room Bookings." It would be nice to for those items to be persistent if the integration is enabled or for the library to toggle on/off. I would also expect a link to be able to access new events and room bookings from the menu, instead of just viewing history.

Suppress the linked data 100 $1 information in the Titles on Hold area of the app
In Vega Mobile when a patron is viewing their titles on hold, the URI (100 $1) displays. We'd like the ability to suppress this field information or have it hidden by default. It is confusing to patrons and given the limited space in the app, we'd love to free this up for more useful information. Our site tried hiding it in the classic catalog to see if this would impact the mobile app but it had not impact when doing so. Thanks.

Reading/Checkout History
I understood that on the app, it's all or nothing - either everyone sees their reading history or no one sees their reading history. Please enhance to allow people to opt in or out.

Sierra: Cancel holds that have already been filled in Mobile App
We've had many patrons request the ability to cancel a hold that is already "held" (i.e., has a "held" status). This can be done through our website and it would be really helpful to extend that functionality to the app.

Leverage Existing LX/Promote Blocks in the Mobile App
We’d love the ability to reuse blocks or modules already created in LX, Promote, or Promote Web within the Mobile App. Our Communications team has invested time into crafting designs in Promote and would really like to extend that work into the Mobile App experience without rebuilding everything from scratch.

Catalog Search Segmentation (Physical, Libby, Hoopla, etc.)
We’d love to see segmented search added to the mobile app. A feature like easy-to-use tabs at the top of the search results (e.g., Physical, Libby, OverDrive, etc.) would make it much easier for patrons to navigate. Currently, they have to use the filter tool and scroll through a long list of formats to narrow down their results, which can be cumbersome.
Workflow... Patron searches on mobile app. Top of the search results (Physical, Libby, Hoopla tabs) would allow a patron to quickly click what type of material they are hunting for without forcing them to select through a huge…

Ability to sort searches by availability
Add the ability to sort catalog search results by availability or "available now". This is a function currently in the PAC and customers expect to see the same behavior in the the Mobile App. This will also make it easier for customers to tell if they can pick up a book the same day.

Add option to adjust 24-hour clock format when using other languages
During testing, our team has noticed that when selecting other languages in the app, the open/close hours displayed for each location are switched to a 24-hour clock format. While this is the format most commonly used by the language selected, our team feels that having the option to adjust this to a 12-hour format would be a useful enhancement.

Option to remove background image from Library Location Information
Currently, the Library Location content items display a clear Header Image with a blurred version of that image as the Background image. It is not currently possible to remove the background image entirely.
Please provide an option to either remove the background image entirely or replace the blurred image with a solid background.

Mobile App Username
Would it be possible to have the ability to use created usernames in Vega Mobile to sign into our account similar to the PAC and Vega Discover. This would make signing into the mobile app a lot more convenient considering that patrons would no longer need to to type in their full patron barcode.

LEAP Patron message show up in the app
We'd like to see the Leap patron message pop up in the mobile app, ideally as a banner on top when the patron logs into the app.
