Yes, this would be extremely helpful. We currently have to run lists to separate out on order items and items that are missing, billed, etc... and suppress those. It's a lot of extra work that could be solved by fixing the on order status issue.

MEEP 2025 Winner
Will create a Graphic Novel Work Type. Polaris is working on an enhancement for TOMs so that Polaris libraries can have a Graphic Novel format display on tabs in Vega.

With so many novels being adapted into graphic novels now, I've been told it's very confusing when patrons are trying to differentiate between the two in the catalog. I think having a Graphic Novel format would be tremendously helpful.

We have had a couple patrons complain that the bookshelf page is only half the screen and they have to scroll down to view everything. They would like to be able to see all their checkouts on one page (full screen view) without having to scroll up and down

We are consistently running into problems with picture books and easy reader editions of the same title rolling up together. Since the author and title fields are identical it will not separate them and it's very confusing to the public and staff. I have made sure to add a 250 field to show the edition, but this is only helpful if the user selects the edition information view which is an extra step.
