An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Laura,
It looks like when you catalog your Tonieboxes (very cool btw, Angela and I looked them up) that you're putting the word Toniebox in the title and that you're giving them a Series Title of Tonieboxes and Tonies. These things do particularly help you get better results when searching just 'Tonies' or 'Tonie' in Vega. The Series is great and can help you create a showcase for these as well which you'll be able to promote in search results when we index showcases into search in the future. Right now in your Vega Discover, when I search 'tonies' in the Series Title search I get pretty much perfect results. In the Everything search, you do get 3 of the available toniebox titles on the first page of results with the first one at #2 after Tony Bennett. :)
We don't want to change our relevancy to be too strict in regard to stemming or the minority of patron searches 20% or less that are not looking for a specific title would not garner good results. How do you feel about your search results after cataloging some records?
Best Regards,
Samantha Cunning -

Vega does not ingest Sierra or Polaris Purchase Order information. Vega only ingests Bibliographic records and attached item data.
The Material Type setting: Request Bibs With No Items that can be set to Allow/Don't Allow for each Material Type or Type of Material in your ILS is what controls a green Availability status of On Order when there are no items present on a displayed bib record. This toggle also controls whether or not a Place Hold Get It button displays when a bib of this Material Type or Type of Material has no items attached.
