Failed Extraction Alert in Vega Admin
Add an alert feature to Vega Admin that will notify select users when an extraction fails. Currently, when an extraction fails in Vega Admin, there is no way to know unless you manually check the logs. This can be time-consuming and frustrating. By adding an alert feature, users will be notified immediately or on desired intervals when an extraction fails, allowing the user to take action quickly and minimize issues as a result of the failure.

Or make this information available via an API so we can monitor it using our own 3rd party monitoring tools.

We have had some failed extractions and not know about them until patrons contacted us about various errors they encountered. This leaves a negative impression with patrons.

This would make this process so much easier. Currently, we are trying to set up scheduled daily reminders to check the logs, but this will be time consuming and potentially just wasted time.

Having experienced a failed extraction, I now see how easy they are to miss. This is critical to meeting service requirements, so unless Innovative has some way to successfully monitor and fix this on our behalf, a notice (and hopefully a trigger to correct) should be part of the process.

It would be great to know right away so we can take action, as Eric points out. Thanks

Allow us to manually set or at least communicate an email contact to support staff. Please and thank you.
