We do a lot of changes and have found there is a bug related to the way reindexing can occur - a ticket was filed.
Being able to reindex specific records may (or may not) address that issue, but it could be helpful either way.D. Letterman

So much of LEAP is still manual - copying things one at a time. Any kind of bulk change/bulk update abilities would be a huge plus!

Agreed - this would be a great addition. For now, I believe Polaris support can clean up these records sets. But why not free up their valuable time, and let users do it themselves?

We update 10k or more records fairly often. With remote employees, the person on the most western coast can drop these changes in the queue at the end of their day, which minimizes the impact for workers on Eastern Time.
But scheduling would be far better. For example, you could schedule large changes to run on weekends or even weekend nights, when staffing is minimal.D. Letterman

This occurs for anything that you are deleting that's in a record set - the pop-up appears and you have to click past it every time. This is such a time-waster!

This seems like an obvious thing to have. If working with large record sets (>10K) you may have to load them in several increments, and then sort them.... and if you add or delete items and re-save the record set, you have to start all over from the beginning.

We constantly use bulk changes to update and refine our data.
We never get around to some projects because they are too much work. Something like this could be a huge time-saver, and allow us to easily make improvements. -

Agree - this seems like a key functionality and we would absolutely use it. We have many 4xx fields in records so surfacing them would be extremely helpful.
If I'm understanding your request correctly, if you are able to isolate all the records that you want to change into a record set, AND there is only the one field that needs changing (i.e. not two 856 fields with different data) then you should be able to do this via a bulk change using the client. You'll need to add all the subfields and their data individually in order to remove the entire field - see the attached image.
I'm not aware of a way to delete duplicate fields, other than to do a bulk change to delete a specific field (which would delete the field and any duplicates) and then add the field back in - where it would appear only once. Though you'd need to be mindful of punctuation or spaces which might not be picked up in your bulk change request.
