   She is right. I want to count renewals in my reports for statistical purposes, however, renewals in the item record would help in deciding whether to replace an item or not.

   The Link+ button is hard for patrons to find. We want out patrons to be empowered to search Link+ by being pointed to it before they get frustrated with their search.

    We add the links to online bibliographies which go to all of the schools and patrons who ask for biliographies. We need permanent links in order to advertise our items.
