Our previous ILS had this feature as a check box/toggle. It was helpful to have the option, as sometimes we wanted to associate (for example, children), but sometimes we just wanted to copy info (for example, a spouse). As a side note, we also had the option to choose which fields were copied when we did this, so we didn't have to copy birthdate, first name, last name, phone number, etc. if we didn't need them.

It would be great to have this as a granular setting in the staff roles. There is some overlap in our admins and other staff who could use this permission. We'd like to choose which staff role has this ability.
