Allow hold-reset when checking an item in damaged
We often discover that an item is missing or damaged when placing the hold slip to put it on the hold shelf. When that happens, it would be really helpful if we could check it in in damaged mode from held status and be able to reset the hold for the patron. Ideally, there would be a damaged and a missing parts check-in for unattached items (without a last borrower) where we can just remove that barcode from circulation and reset the hold for the patron in one action.

Adding some extra context - in the ILS we are migrating from to Polaris, resetting a hold for a patron when an item on hold is discovered to be damaged or have missing parts takes one scan of the barcode and one click to: 1) turn the item's status to damaged or collection maintenance (without attaching any fees or fines to a patron, which is how we want it to behave) and 2) reset the hold for the patron at their initial place in the queue. Doing the same thing in Polaris requires wild workarounds, the best of which for us takes 7 distinct steps. That is a huge loss of staff time, and this function is something we consider critical for an ILS to provide.

This would save a lot of time and prevent clerks from having to manually adjust hold queues.
