Adding a comment onto my idea - not sure if this would necessitate splitting this into two separate ideas, but it would be great it this were also an option in the standard patron registration in Leap, not just the self-registration.

I'm not sure how the first part of the idea would impact our consortium's delivery service, but I'm definitely in favor of that 24-hr wait period before allowing another item at another library to fill a hold.
Another thought would be to allow using the 'Located' option as a way of preventing another item from filling the hold.

As staff have been told that the mobile carrier isn't required for Vega Interact, it's confusing to then tell them that they do actually still need to list the carrier for certain other texts, such as check-out receipts.
