We actually added an endpoint to support this integration in Polaris 7.6 (BibsPost). We've been working with BTCat to consume the endpoint in their application.
I'm going to set this to "Planned" for now because the integration is not live with BTCat yet. But the development piece required for Polaris has been done. Please let BTCat know you are interested!!

Yes! Rapid receipt is key when invoicing items. Not all orders are EDI, and rapid receipt makes invoicing much quicker, especially when items are on different POs.

This is a barrier for our libraries to use Leap for cataloging. Many alter the text of the label before printing both out of necessity and for custom labels. Often the text is too long and needs to be manually forced onto another line, or the font size decreased. Some libraries want to customize the label more by bolding or increasing the size of portions of the text, like the prefix.

As mentioned by others, we have libraries who use Leap for circulation, but revert to the offline client because of the fear of loosing data.

Labels frequently get discontinued, and libraries then have to choose a new one and decide if they want to relabel the old ones so they all match or not. Also, sometimes the labels available are not that appealing (I remember one library getting frustrated at the lack of parenting labels), and being able to decide on your own image solves both of these issues.

Essentially there needs to be a way to identify different on order item templates using the same collection (but with other information that differs) when creating a PO that does not make use of vendor records imported with 970 information. Staff either have to change the items after, or manipulating the bibs by adding a 970 tag to make use of different templates using the same collection. Both of these methods require extra manual work.
