An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Cathy,
In regards to deleting multiple fields at once: this is possible when using the split screen editor introduced in Polaris 7.7. Are you asking for that capability to be added to the individual MARC editor?
Regarding fixed fields, could you explain the use case for wanting to add fixed fields anywhere in the record? Does your library not auto-sort tags based on the MARC validation table order? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ellie,
Would this only be in regard to item-level holds? For title (bib) holds there may not be an item associated with the hold when the hold is activated or created.
Also you may want to look at the setting configuration for how long the system waits to delete cancelled holds (Parameters > Hold options > Terms > "Delete canceled in") so that you would be more likely to still have the hold request to look at the history. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Christy,
I'm glad that helped! Because this has morphed into an enhancement request for Vega Discover I'm moving it over to that forum so that other Vega Discover users can see it and vote/comment!
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Christy,
There is a patron services parameter "Duplication detection options" that allows you to configure additional fields to use for patron duplicate detection. Have you tried using those? Is this enhancement request to add additional options to that configuration? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Richard,
As possible workflow help: in the 7.7 version of Leap we added a keyboard shortcut to trigger that workform close button so that you wouldn't need to scroll to the top for either patron or bibliographic records. The keyboard shortcut is Control + Shift + x.
That was a MEEP winning idea that included a handful of other new keyboard shortcuts as well! -

An error occurred while saving the comment Quick update: We are in talks with Hoopla about API requirements. Until those are in place we won't be able to move forward with implementing this enhancement. Any insight into the parameters libraries would like to use to choose which records to import from the Hoopla collection would be helpful!

Would you provide some more details on what data you'd like to have exported and which check-in flows it should be added to? (Bulk, regular, in-house, etc). -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Beth, are you asking for fiscal year to be added to the Invoice and Purchase Order find tool? Would you provide more specifics about where you are searching and need to be able to filter by fiscal year?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Liz,
Regarding the A portion of this idea, Polaris does allow configuration on the time threshold for item record history (the setting is found in Administration > Parameters > Cataloging). The maximum setting is 9,999 days which works out to roughly 27 years!
Hi Amy,
I'm moving this idea to the Vega Discover forum so other Discover users can see it and comment and vote for it!
