My only reservation would be that there are times I backdate something such as a failed email. I date them for the date the email failed. If the note was automatically dated, I would have to indicate that the note was for a different date.
Additionally, there are times when a patron's Notes are filled and previous notes need to be truncated in order to make room for new notes. Would this mean that previous notes could not be edited?
