Leap: Prevent web browser from asking to update password when resetting patron password
We use Microsoft Edge for Leap, and use Edge's password manager to remember the Leap login password.
When staff open a patron record and reset a patron's password, the browser thinks we are resetting the password for Leap and asks if we want to update the Leap login password (see attached screenshot). Staff sometimes click "Update" on this prompt, not realizing that this is changing the stored login password for Leap. Staff are then unable to login to Leap the next day because the browser populates the Leap login page with the wrong password.
This popup should not be appearing when resetting a patron's password.

Yeah... I'm not sure how much of this is a Leap problem and how much is a browser problem, but the staff password field for Leap login should be made distinct in some way from the patron password field that surfaces with the "Reset Password" button. Built in password managers may still recognize it as a password field and attempt to save it for you, but it would be helpful if it at least didn't overwrite the staff login password... though that might be tricky if the passwords are only being managed by the browser per domain...
