   We will order different editions of a title (hardcover, paperback, etc.) depending upon vendor availability. Being able to specify the ISBN for the order is important to avoid false cancellations with the vendor due to the wrong ISBN being transmitted.

   We are a multi-branch system that floats and we run into the limitation of the items must have a status of In and belong to the logged in branch quite often. We do have instances when we need to edit item records that show as Assigned elsewhere and this limitation in Polaris and Leap is quite frustrating for our front-line staff.
