Our library serves a diverse, multilingual community, and delivering a fully localized browsing experience across our catalog is essential for accessibility and equity. While Vega Discover supports multiple language settings, text strings embedded within Syndetics Unbound content widgets currently remain untranslated when a patron changes their language preference. This creates a jarring, disjointed experience for non-English speakers and hinders their ability to discover related titles, series information, and supplemental resources. Enabling translation support for these widget text strings ensures a seamless, consistent, and inclusive experience for all patrons.
