Right now, if you need to change a link to something that is not a page on your site, you have to remember every page that link is on and update all of them manually. This has come up for us recently as we are updating old PDFs with new accessible versions.

Most platforms, if you update the PDF with a new version with an identical file name, will overwrite the old one and the links will all naturally begin to pull the new document. However, since Wix gives each PDF a unique identifier and URL unrelated to the actual document in Media, any action taken on the document in the media center, including deletion, does not affect the document on the website. You have to manually curate what's in Media and then go PDF hunting on your website.

The obvious solution is to only link to PDFs using the CMS content collections so there is just one spot to update the link, but these do not work in every instance - and certainly wouldn't work for absolutely every link you might want to share on a page.

A "Find and update sitewide" feature would be very nice to have (Dreamweaver has had this for over a decade now.) not just for links, but even for content! (For example, if the price of an out-of-district card changed you could do a find and replace!) Or, if not this, at least a more intuitive way for PDFs to be stored and updated.
