1. Record and Export Roaming Reference Statistics

   Vega Mobile worklists users would like to be able to record reference statistics while using the Mobile Worklists application when roaming the library with devices.

   Job Stories:
   As a Mobile Worklists admin, I can configure reference interaction types and form data to be used by my staff to record reference statistics while using the Mobile Worklists application.
   As a Mobile Worklists staff user, I can quickly record statistics about reference interactions I have with customers while roaming the library with my device.
   As a Mobile Worklists user I can view Reference Statistics in the app.
   As a Mobile Worklists user configured to receive statistics emails, I can receive a useable CSV file of reference statistics on a regularly scheduled cadence
   As a Mobile Worklists user, I can send reference statistics to an email address on the fly.

   This feature was introduced in Vega Mobile Worklists in August 2026.

2. Vega Discover Search

   Vega Mobile Worklists users would like to be able to search the library catalog within the mobile worklists app in order to provide reference help with doing outreach activities using their device. 

   Job Stories:
   As a Mobile Worklists library that has Vega Discover, I can search my library catalog in the app.
   As a Mobile Worklists staff user, I can use the catalog search to locate materials for patrons and share material info to them.

   This feature was included in the July 2026 release of Vega Mobile Worklists.

   
   

   Vega Discover libraries who use Mobile Worklists gain access to a special feature that allows them to: ​

   • Assist patrons in the stacks by searching the catalog from their phone.​
   • Check for materials in the catalog to find available formats, locations, call numbers, edition info, MARC records, and item details including barcodes.
   • Add catalog items to a Mobile Worklist. (slide left from items view)
   • Copy or Send a Vega Discover search result link to an email address

   How to configure:

   • For Mobile Worklist users that have Vega Discover, configure your Vega Discover base URL (home page link) in the Mobile Worklists Settings > Vega Base URL.​
   • A catalog search icon will appear at the bottom quick access menu in app.​
