This feels important with the new SMS module. Currently it says a TXT was method but when you look at more details it indicates email completed. This can be confusing to staff looking into an issue. Also like the idea of expanding on it to include bad phone number if the 3rd party could pass that back at Polaris.

We were excited to have Polaris add this functionality and then bummed when realizing with us having Vega Discover this functionality won't work. This needs to be added to allow the usage of the feature in the ILS.

To expand on this it would be nice it this worked with 3rd party vendors like Communico or Local Hop. We are missing the opportunity to expand the patrons use of the library to beyond just material if they an do a search and see there is an upcoming event that follows the subject of their search.

This needs to also needs to be available through SMS. We have patrons that only get SMS messages and now that we run true SMS they are no longer receiving a notice to let them know to check their account because items may be due soon.
