    Many of the libraries in our consortium create multiples items at a time in the Polaris client. Their workflow is considerably slowed by the need to create (or copy) item records one at a time.

    This would be very useful! I write down the control numbers in an attempt to keep track of what I'm looking it. It would be faster and more accurate if those control numbers were displayed.
