This has come up at multiple meetings with our circ colleagues as a pain point. Having the title duplicated on the paging list doesn't serve a practical purpose for staff members pulling items to fill holds, and it's ultimately a source of confusion and a waste of paper.

We'd like to confirm that if implemented, the default "OFF" setting wouldn't interfere with our current configuration that allows for holds on bibs with outstanding order records but no items attached?

We've just encountered a problem with this behavior in the opposite direction as well — we have some titles on order for an exhibit, and all copies will be non-holdable when they arrive. Since Sierra can't apply that behavior until the items actually arrive and get attached, patrons are (incorrectly) able to place holds in the OPAC in the interim.

Yes, please. We use Max Item A-D to limit simultaneous checkouts of our Library of Things items, but we don't want patrons placing holds on 10 items only to find when they come in that they can only take 3 of them home. Our library customizes hold limits in our discovery layer, but we'd prefer this be handled natively in Sierra.
