Ability to clear notice history
In order to protect patron privacy, there should be an ability to clear patron notice history after a certain amount of time. Since different libraries will have different, the retention period should be up to each library to decide. This might take the form of clearing all information about notices sent, or simply clearing the details about the items contained in the notice.
Either a setting to have notice history automatically cleared after a certain amount of time or, if easier to implement, a way for staff to manually clear notice history before a certain date, would be helpful.

Prior to our Sierra library's move to LX Starter, we kept track of sent notices through both Mandrill & by cc'ing an internal address. Mandrill has its own rules (keeping detailed info on delivered messages for 30 days & keeping record of bounced messages for 90 days). We kept everything we cc'd ourselves for 3 months as well.
Aside from patron privacy, which is certainly a legitimate concern, I feel like being able to set a limit on how long this data is maintained might help speed up the retrieval process whenever we're looking for a particular patron's notice history?
