An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedWe've found that the display is confusing when a series includes multiple volumes on one BIB. The cover art will display for whichever ISBN is first in the record and that, along with the greyed out series display makes patrons think we don't have some volumes when they are grouped on one bib. We've been working to separate some of these but for some series with many volumes, it isn't a priority to create individual BIBs. It would be great if Vega would recognize all of the ISBNs included in the record.
Ideally, it would be nice to be able to present volume information on the rollup somehow without relying on the user to expand the editions information.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedWe have edited the wording in the translation file to try to make this a bit less confusing but it is still not user friendly for our patrons.
We do add records for some digital titles but things like Magazines that have multiple issues still display like this.
This same issue occurs when a physical item is suppressed in the ILS. This is particularly problematic for items that are BILLED that we don't want displaying in the catalogue and gathering holds when there may not be any remaining active items but we still want the patron that has it checked out to know what they have checked out. When there is a record in the ILS, it would be great if it could display in the Bookshelf, regardless of Suppressed status.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedWe would love to see Vega look at Order records! We have a similar workaround where we created material types for different On Order types. One of the things that is really lacking with this method is useful sorting and searching. Patrons want to be able to see what is on order sorted by order date. Right now, there isn't a good way to sort On order records since "New Materials" looks at the cat date which we don't add until the item is received. Limiting by material type is also not as robust as it could be since we didn't add an on order type for every material type (since we hoped that on order searching would be coming soon). For instance, you can't search specifically for On Order Non Fiction, On Order Fiction or On Order Picture Book, etc. since those are all lumped into On Order Book. We could create additional material types but were hoping to not have to do that.
I've received a number of complaints from patrons that want to be able to quickly view what has been ordered since the last time they checked and they can't really do this reliably now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedI just received a request for this and think it would be useful since not all items checked out are read. Patrons that consult reading history when looking for future reads might want the ability to remove titles that they didn't have a chance to read when they borrowed them.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedThe display is not very friendly as it is, particularly if you have 2 links associated with one resource. Ideally, the $z text should display. If two links are present, it would be great if there was some space between them.

I too would like to see the issue of too much scrolling addressed. I'm not sure that adjusting the zoom would be the best solution. I'd prefer to see a reduction in white space or some other design changes since changes to the zoom level affect the font size which could be an issue for accessibility.
Complaints about the amount of scrolling and the inability to see enough information at a glance are the most common complaints we get from users.
