An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah Kasprzak commentedWe would like to see this as well. We have a couple of collections that are not holdable, but do circulate and it is confusing and potentially frustrating for a patron to see a Place Hold button and then get an error message.
A related issue exists for items that can only be held at their owning location. Vega displays all pickup locations in the drop-down list when the hold is being placed. If a patron chooses a location where the hold cannot be picked up, the hold isn't successful but there is no indication or messaging to say that this is the case or why.

We have also received requests for other ways to sort holds, including by the "pickup by" date. We are also getting lots of feedback saying that patrons want to be able to see more at-a-glance on the holds screen without having to scroll. The ability to condense the information into fewer lines and turn off images would be appreciated.
