The contributors that are unique to an edition should be displayed with the edition information.
This is a way to distinguish between versions of a work, including different translations, added commentaries, and audiobook readers -

A person as a subject is not a contributor!! that's why there are separate fields and for autobiography both 6xx and 7xx are used

The ability to search and display non-roman paired fields (MARC 880) allows patrons to search for materials in Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Russian (Cyrilic)/Hebrew/Arabic
Without the ability to display or search in those scripts patrons will be unable to place their own holds, as romanization does not always match what a native speaker would searchMiriam Gloger

The ability to have an alphabetical sort (or better yet index search) would make it easier to find a specific known work rather than browse through irrelevant records
