Index genre headings
We have several customers that use genre headings (655 field) to find materials. For example, "video recordings for the hearing impaired" helps deaf and hard-of-hearing customers locate DVDs with closed captioning. This is not a searchable field in Vega and there does not seem to be a way to find this information anywhere on the record.

Thank you for posting this. Please make the 655 field visible and searchable in Vega. Changing this field to 650 is incorrect cataloguing and will probably cause problems going forward. This is such an important but basic function and is widely used by our patrons and staff, please make it active in Vega🙏

We recently migrated ILS (Sierra > Polaris) and moved to Vega Discover Premium.
A patron reached out to us because they were able to locate DVD/Bluray records that had subtitles when we had the Sierra WebPAC, but it does not seem to be available in Vega Discover Premium.
I was able to use the advanced search for video recordings for the subject: hearing impaired the in the Polaris PowerPAC, though we're trying to keep our patrons in one catalog.

Genres are often the main way patrons search for fiction in the catalog, so this is incredibly important to have indexed.

Genre headings are an important way to find and navigate fiction, more importantly, it is a functionality from classic webpac that should not be lost
