    Has there been any movement on this enhancement? I would think that including 655 genre field searching, either as a Concept or as a separate facet, would be basic functionality of any OPAC. I realize there are workarounds by manipulating the MARC record to accommodate for Vega Discover's limitations, but this is so unnecessary and just plain wrong. The distinction between subject (topical) and genre/form headings exist for a reason, and that's because they are very different. Please let us know if this functionality isn't going to be implemented, as it will be a very big undertaking for our library to make a 655 to 650 field global change. Thank you.
