Our old catalog had automated lists for new and on-order items. With Vega, this is no longer an option. We're attempting to create a New and On-order showcase using record sets of newly purchased items. However, there is no way for patrons to filter based on collection or material type. It would be very helpful for us, considering we no longer have the automated booklists as an option.

A lot of patrons would like to be able to reactivate holds that have been cancelled - no matter the reason for the cancellation - without having to call staff. This was a feature on the previous catalog interface. We've had several patrons express frustration that they are unable to replace a hold themselves.

Both patrons and staff have frequently requested this service. At the moment it takes at least 3 clicks before getting to the Syndetics Unbound plugin that allows you to browse by Lexile Level and AR level. Once you click on a title, the search results go away and you have to follow the same steps to open Syndetics Unbound again.
