add On Order facet
Please work with libraries to determine a way to add an "on order" facet. We ingest all bibliographic records before we receive the physical copies. Library users can also place holds on these "on order" bibliographic records. Library users want to distinguish between "recently received" by the library and "recently ordered" by the library.

Please. We have established a work around for this (as most libraries have) by adding "on order" material type facets. This has cluttered our material types. Having "online", "in library", and "on order" availability options makes sense to our customers and they tell us that is what they expect to see in the catalogue.

This is also important for indicating to patrons whether an item is Unavailable or simply On Order, as the current Availability status for On Order items is Unavailable.

Placing holds on "on order" items is widely used at my library, especially for popular/in-high-demand titles.
