I have been cleaning up holds, and found a lot that have the "Display in PAC" box checked in the bib record because at one time that was a record that had items attached. Now the items are all withdrawn, missing, lost, etc., so the bib still shows up in Discover, but there are no items for patrons to place holds on. I'd love it if there was a way that Discover would look at the item status mapping settings, and if there are no items available on a bib, automatically suppress that bib. In the future if an item record becomes available again, or a new item is purchased and added, that bib would then appear again if the Display in PAC box is still checked.
