   As noted, many of us are short staffed these days. Depending on the collection, part of our load file prep routine can require significant time searching for possible duplicates, and there are always the ones that sneak through and need post load work. This would be a time saver and contribute to a cleaner database for us and patrons.

    We don't use Vega, but our consortial discovery layer provides filters by genre. Per our Reference folks, patrons find it extremely helpful in narrowing their searches. We have a graphic novel collection and one of my current projects is to enhance those with the generic graphic novel heading with addition fields of Nonfiction comics, Historical comics, Shojo manga, etc. as appropriate.
