This is critical for us. Because we have used Syndetics for many years, we don't have many 520 fields, and we would much rather have this information come from Syndetics since they have it readily available. It works well with other discovery platforms, so hopefully, the same would be true here.

While I also have sympathy, this is possible in every other discovery platform I have used, and how are customers supposed to go and find similar books to the ones that are checked out if they can't see the call number? If no one could do it, I'd understand, but other discovery platforms that also roll up and display the same way as Discover have managed to make it work.

It would be helpful if clicking on an author's name would result in a list of titles by that author.

Please consider using this relatively new feature to control the display of such titles: https://knowledge.ag-software.clarivate.com/vega-discover/admin/HideRecordsFromCatalog.htm

We just switched to Discover and are getting daily complaints about the lack of summaries and other content. We had a lower level of Syndetics subscription with Bibliocommons but much more content, and people really miss it and need it. This should be a top priority. We specifically asked if we would have the same or more functionality, and instead, we have very minimal offerings.

Our customers are complaining that the customer information is too big in the Account Portal. They say it is too easy for other people to see when logging in on library computers and it requires them to scroll too much for other information. They are asking that we make that particular information smaller.

We have had multiple complaints from people logging into the Account Portal on our library computers that their customer information appears too large and too easy for other people to see. It also means they have to scroll a lot for other information. They would like their personal information to be smaller and take up less space on the screen.

I agree that this is super important - having to have staff manage the same lists we will want there all the time is very problematic. We also need it to work in the app.

Please note that an AUDIENCE Facet already exists in Vega and can be turned on in the staff admin.

This is important and useful information and needs to be indexed and searchable. Customers live and need to search by genre

Agreed - we had this in our previous Discovery platform and it will be missed. There are a lot of people who want to filter out the reference materials. We would like a filter that excludes materials that don't check out AND materials that are currently checked out.

We would also really like for the age group facets to come from itypes or location codes, so that we could assign (in our case) itypes that would separate things into juvenile, tween, young adult, and adult.

We are getting more complaints about this daily. This is really basic functionality, especially when you have software that is going to require customers to go through pages of search results.
