    Our library system would love to see this functionality come through. The ILL email notices consist of very plain text and have odd page breaks as well. It would be nice to improve these notices. In addition, we would love to be able to add more information since sometimes our ILL requests need to go in-transit to another location where the patron then picks up the hold. . .

    It sounds as though this is needed not just for developers in the ILS community but also for third party vendors libraries work with to maximize Sierra functionality. This would make things more transparent and improve capabilities for libraries!

    Our site has the Innovative Mobile app and we have item holds as well as bib holds. We use the Sierra ILS so perhaps this is an issue tied back to Polaris. I'm not sure. However, if your site is Sierra, I would find an item record, place a volume field in that record and test? Thanks.
