Make All "On Order" Items Holdable
We recently discovered that some of our bib records with only order records attached are not eligible to be placed on hold through the Innovative Mobile app. I was told by Innovative that this is because the Sierra API is only able to see order records that are specifically in the "o - On Order" status. We use a few different order record statuses as part of our normal workflows (e.g. "a - Fully Paid"), but we still want patrons to be able to place holds on these items using the mobile app, regardless of order record status.
Vega Discover allows patrons to place these items on hold, because it seems to automatically assume that unsuppressed bib records with no attached item records are "on order". This inconsistency between app and webPAC is confusing for patrons, so it would be better if the Innovative Mobile app handled hold eligibility for "on order" bib records in the same way as Vega Discover.

I can't believe this still hasn't been addressed. Many new titles that patrons are finding in the mobile app but cannot place a hold because there are no attached items, and the order status is \"a\" not \"o\". Solus can only see attached orders when the status is \"o\". The API used by the mobile app is different than what Vega uses, so patrons can place holds there (requiring another step) and it's very confusing.

Today I'm seeing a title that has just one order attached (no other attached records) but the order status is 'on order' and it still has no Place Hold button. This issue seems to only apply to some bibs with attached orders which makes it extra confusing.

What our system is seeing is that any bib with just one order (on order status) won't have the REQUEST button. If we add another attached order record, then the button appears. I have a case open with Innovative. Perhaps this is a setting that can be adjusted.

This continues to happen with us, as often times our orders are status "a," fully paid. Very confusing for the patrons.
