In the Background Processing interface, MARC Import is the only view that does not support multi-select functionality (Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click) for selecting multiple records to delete. As a result, import files must be selected individually.

Our consortium processes between 70–100 MARC imports per month. Periodically cleaning up old import files is a routine administrative task, but the inability to select multiple files increases the time required to perform this maintenance. Other Background Processing views support range and multi-item selection, making the MARC Import screen inconsistent with the rest of the interface.

We are requesting that the MARC Import view support standard Shift+Click and Ctrl+Click multi-selection to allow users to efficiently select and delete multiple import files at once.
