Maintain date-ordered holds queue when transferring holds from one bib to another
When transferring holds to one bib from another, Polaris does not maintain the date order of the holds queue, even though the original request date stays with the transferred hold. Instead, staff have to manually move holds up and down. This is a huge waste of time. We'd like for holds transfers to maintain their place in the queue when transferred, which can be accomplished by simply ordering the queue by date as part of the transfer process. This is a daily occurrence for us.
