We have recently had the need for Showcase Admins to search all of our showcases by author. This can happen when libraries suddenly want to remove or add an author to a number of showcases, but don't know if they are already a part of that showcase.

We tried using the author record for this purpose, but authors can be associated with hundreds of resources so this is not a practical way to search for this data.

This can be a delicate issue for libraries as authors can suddenly appear in the news for various reasons and they need to be added/removed from showcases in a timely manner.
