  1. It would be great to have a digital signage product that reads your event calendar and scrolls through respective "slides." We have large TVs in all departments advertising our events (we aren't yet live on Vega Program) with a competitor's product. We can filter these for the proper building and/or department. We are bummed that we have to give this up.

  2. The calendar view is not easy to read. Allow the ability to branch locations with a colour, so all events at a certain branch are visible on the calendar.

  3. It would be nice to show the difference from patron booked rooms, to adult, teen and youth events on the staff side calendar. To make the calendar more visually accessible at a glance, being able to change some event types to different color would be better.

While color coding events on an online calendar can be visually appealing and helpful for some users, it may not meet accessibility requirements for all users. Vega Program is designed with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines in mind. Here are some reasons:

    1. Color Perception: Not all users perceive colors in the same way. Color      blindness affects approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women globally.      Using color as the only visual means of conveying information could make      the calendar less accessible for these users.
    2. Contrast Sensitivity: Some users may have low contrast sensitivity, meaning      they struggle to distinguish between colors that do not contrast strongly.      If the color coding does not provide sufficient contrast, these users may      find it difficult to differentiate between events.
    3. Accessibility Guidelines: The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)      recommend that color should not be used as the sole method of conveying      content…
